BREAKFAST AT INVERCASSLEY COTTAGE B&B
Our hearty breakfasts are served between 7.45-9.00am in the guests kitchen dining room. Earlier breakfast times available by arrangement. If the weather is really nice (and there are no midges!) we can set up an outdoor dining table for an alfresco breakfast.
We offer a choice of full cooked breakfasts and a lighter bites menu, which we ask you to pre-order the night before, so that it is ready for at your preferred time. We aim to use produce from local suppliers wherever possible.
We are happy to cater for special dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian, vegan and dairy /gluten-free) provided we are given advance notice.
For an additional fee we can also provide packed lunches (must be pre ordered the day before), and for guests staying for more than one night we can loan out picnic equipment to take with you on your day trips. In addition we now offer frozen pre-cooked homemade meals which can be ordered in advance of your stay . These can be left in the guests freezer for you to defrost at your convenience to eat during your stay. Please contact us for our pre-order menu.

We are unable to provide evening meals but The Achness Hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. and offers not only a carvery in the hotel restaurant but also a public bar with a wide ranging pub food menu. In addition we can recommend a wide range of restaurants within a short drive, many of these restaurants also offer takeaways , We also have a fish & chip shop in Lairg and a Chinese takeaway in Bonar Bridge , and yes the food is still hot when you get back. Invercassley Stores and tearooms is located in the village and offers a wide choice of lunch items and great coffee and cake and takeaways ( which they will deliver) on a Friday and Saturday evening.
